Role of FSUE “Atomflot” in the implementation of programs for the rehabilitation of nuclear legacy facilities and in the system of spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste management in the Murmansk region

The article provides an overview of the FSUE Atomflot activities aimed at improving infrastructure and production facilities for management spent nuclear fuel radioactive waste ensuring nuclear, radiation environmental safety, both in Murmansk region throughout northwestern Russia. Carrying out work within Federal Target Program “Ensuring safety 2016—2020 period up to 2030” cooperation with structures Rosatom other federal regional departments responsible ecological situation also takes important place.
